A Proven Spiritual Remedy
Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, the believed author of the famous phrase " Na Nach Nachma Nachman " was the great-grandson of the Baal Shem Tov—Master of the Good Name— the founder of the Chassidic movement.
This phrase was included in what has been called "A Letter from Heaven " or in Hebrew, simply " the Petek " or note. Even without understanding the full story or importance of this Judaic Mantra, a test that many have done is simply to say and repeat the signature Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman, either in a spoken voice or in song, and to wait to see the effect.
The ten Hebrew letters in Rebbe Nachman's name as it appears in the Petek: Na Nach Nachma Nachman correspond to the ten types of Song [the Tikkun HaKlali] that have the power to cure all of Israel. It is believed that thousands of years had to pass from the Creation of the world in order to ultimately reveal this spiritual remedy to our generation.
In April 1810, Rebbe Nachman summoned two of his close disciples, Rabbi Aharon of Breslov and Rabbi Naftali of Nemirov, to act as witnesses for an unusual vow:
" If someone comes to my grave, gives a coin to charity, and says these ten Psalms [the Tikkun HaKlali], I will pull him out from the depths of Gehinnom! " (Rabbi Nachman's Wisdom #141). " It makes no difference what he did until that day, but from that day on, he must take upon himself not to return to his foolish ways "
" Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman "
Truly fascinating results have been witnessed in the many stories that have been publicized about the powerful effects of this spiritual remedy. The primary condition is to say it with faith and not mockery.
